Puzzle Race

Saturday, January 24 @ 2:00

All adult and teen puzzlers are welcome to Abington Public Library’s Puzzle Race!  Challenge yourself by competing with other teams to see who can finish our secret 500-piece puzzle first!  A prize will be available for the winning pair or team.

Registration is required and can be done here: https://bit.ly/4qXnBRO  Teams will be divided into sets of 2-4 people depending on number of participants.  This is a fun way to spend a Saturday afternoon!

Larchmont Remembered

Larchmont Remembered is a live presentation about the sinking of the steamship Larchmont,  one of the worst maritime disasters in New England history, which happened off the coast of Block Island, Rhode Island in February of 1907. This fascinating presentation covers the story of the ship, its crew and passengers, as well as accounts of survival, panic, murder and miracles.   This program has been written, produced and presented by Daniel F. Harrington, long-time monthly columnist for the Providence Journal, and features digitally restored photos, engaging graphics, live music, and eyewitness accounts .  Registration requested.

Family Story Hour

Stop on by after a busy morning and wind down with a Family Story Hour. One of your favorite Librarians will read some stories, sing some songs, and maybe wave some scarves. This story hour is best for kids ages newborn – 5, but all are welcome.
